HGTV’s Renovation Resort Showdown tops the Promo Mojo ranker for the week ended August 3, making it TV’s most-promoted show.
HGTV is joined by three fellow cable networks: Food Network, which whets appetites for The Great Food Truck Race in second place; Fox News, which serves up a promo for the Ruthless podcast (which the network recently made a deal to license) in third; and MTV, which hypes The Challenge in fifth.
The sole traditional broadcaster: CBS, which hypes the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards (set to air live on CBS and simulcast on MTV on Sunday, Sept. 7) in fourth place.
Notably, The Great Food Truck Race scores the highest iSpot Attention Index (121) in the ranking, meaning viewers were on average highly likely to watch its promos all the way through (vs. interrupting viewing by changing the channel, pulling up the guide, fast-forwarding or turning off the TV).
